Alboran was designed by one of Spain's most highly regarded and prestigious golfing architects, Ramón Espinosa.

The course measures 6,875 yards from the championship tees, and is characterised by the 66 sand traps that are strategically positioned throughout; avoiding these, particularly around the greens, is an essential part of building a good score.
