From getting there easy booking in and out.the staff in the restaurant were lovely and the food was the best we have had.the bar staff were great aswell in all the trips iv been booking.will be definitely coming back

Really good experience. Food excellent. Only disappointment was given double rooms instead of twins but they sorted. Very well looked after

Pros - rooms are nice. Really comfortable. - pool area was spot on. Cons - hotel didn’t have any of our individual guest details despite sending the info in February. - if you need to contact the hotel, do it by email. No one seems to answer the phone. - food in the restaurant wasn’t of a great standard. Breakfast was especially poor. - your included evening meal is only to a value of £35. Again, not a massive issue but would have been nice to know that before booking.

Staff very friendly and helpful, food good, beds extremely comfortable, would have given 5 stars across the board but there was an issue with the Spa. We were told it was fully booked so we couldn't get in for a swim even before breakfast. If I had been informed that we had to book when I visited there earlier in the year I would have done so. In spite of this everyone thoroughly enjoyed the weekend.

I was the organiser of a party of 6 golfers all of whom were delighted with the hotel, the bedrooms and the menu choice. The staff were most helpful and friendly. We are contemplating a return trip in the future, it was that good.

Had a great trip, loving interesting course . Very good hotel. My only small faults is we couldn't get breakfast when we arrived Sunday morning at 9:30, playing at 11. So had to drive to get breakfast. Then only just made tee off. So book breakfast in advance. No sky sports.

Great accomadation two minutes away from the golf course. Everything was excellent - lovely spacious rooms, comfortable beds and meals were equally excellent- and great value - would certainly use again!

Stayed here for 2 nights hotel was lovely and clean staff were excellent and very helpful whatever we needed was sorted and provided.

Had a fabulous stay

Our second stay at Bransford and as good as the first time, the rooms, food and staff were brilliant. We’ve been all over the country and this is one of our favourites, great value, definitely be back.

Golf Course was in excellent condition all round although the greens became very fast on the last day, but were true and a really good test. Good basic practice facilities and reasonably price for 25 balls on the range but the balls were not the best practice balls I’ve encountered. We had excellent support from Tim the Pro and Harry his assistant. The bar in the clubhouse provided a good range of food and drinks and the service was both quick and friendly. The Hotel had clean rooms and fresh towels every day. The staff at reception were very helpful and seemed to be very much in touch with our needs. The Bar staff looked after us well and had a good range of drinks. The Restaurant staff were a friendly efficient team of youngsters who were well up to their duties looking after a crowd of forgetful old boys. Nothing was too much trouble and their customer service was top notch. I really cannot think of any negative aspects on the Bank House and Bransford Golf Club. I have visited other golf clubs in the area and it rates as high as the best of them.

Hotel was clean and staff friendly We moved our evening meal to the clubhouse so we could hang around and have a few drinks straight after golf with rushing about. Great service from the team there.

The hotel experience was overall very good, we had I issue, with the meal on the 2nd night, The sweet was supposed to be a berry eton mess, which ended up 6 berries ,3 pieces of meringue, and cream. I did complain to the hotel, as it was nothing people expected. I have a photo if you are interested.

On the slow side but when you have a overnight stay no need to rush really

I am a high handicap golfer and I really enjoyed this course. Beautiful surroundings and very pretty. The course looked straightforward but do not be deceived as there is plenty to catch you out. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will return.

Great venue. Course is challenging and tight in places. Fantastic greens. Responsive and quick. In great nick. Would definitely recommend and go back again.

This course is a thinking one as a 13 handicaper you have to take irons rather than the driver all the time.the par 3s are fairly long i only managed to hit one in the 2 rounds. 6 par 3s, 6 par 4s and 6 par 5s.this course is a must play will be coming back again 😀

Loved the course except the 18th. Greens not good. We’ll be back, again.

Golf course is lovely. Well kept and some great views. Especially off the 15th tee. Club house was poor. No food available both days despite kitchen being advertised as open. Changing facilities are a bit aged and could do with a refurb.

Superb condition, greens excellent, everything about the trip was great. 5 ⭐.

Good overall with some challenging holes.

We had 2 rounds like the last time. Grens were thought to be excellent, but the length of grass off the fairway was long compared to our clubs.

Slow going on Saturday as a lot booked on, massive party who were also playing music at same time as playing that really held us up, Sunday was quicker no large party, very good if no massive parties going on!!

For time of year course in good condition.Bunkers were a bit solid.Greens quite quick.A challenging course with the water and long par 3's.Very helpful staff.

Course very different to others 6 long pars 3's which the majority of the ladies couldn't reach with their drives so quite challenging. The 18th hole was fun as you had to go over the water there was no way round so a lay up was required and most of us went in the water attempting to do so. We had a prize for the most visits to the water so their were a lot of contenders. The staff were very helpful and Steve (Clubhouse Manager) had the bacon rolls etc ready for us on arrival and also provided an excellent variety of sandwiches and delicious scones for us after our final round. The only drawback was the weather, managed to play in the sunshine on first day, sadly rain on the second but most of us went out, last day most of us managed to play the whole course without getting wet. Would definitely go again.

We all thought the greens were spectacular, the water hazards challenging and the course most interesting.

Very good course a bit quirky but really enjoyable

Really enjoyable course - not long but you had to think your way around and club selection particularly off the tee was important. Greens were superb and tricky and overall our group thoroughly enjoyed the weekend. Only drawback was the off course facilities are limited and it was disappointing we couldn’t get a breakfast on arrival and no food after our second round on Monday afternoon.

Well kept course, great staff in the clubhouse. would certainly look to book again.

Played Stableford day 1 and Doubles day 2&3 the course was in excellent condition and a credit to the greenkeepers fairways mown and the greens were top drawer will definitely be playing there again.

We booked Bank House following a recommendation from Barry @ Your Golf Travel. The course was in excellent condition (especially the greens) and the staff were helpful and courteous. The layout and form of the course keeps you interested throughout the round - and challenging par 3's generate fierce competition.

Very enjoyable couple of rounds . Course was in good condition for the time of year

The course was in beautiful condition, not long but really tricky with the water on lots of the holes, long par threes and choices to be made off the tee. Not a bombers course! Everyone was friendly and seemed genuinely pleased to see us there.

Fantastic 2 days, the course was immaculate. Staff in the pro shop and the clubhouse were very friendly and polite. The course isn’t that long so it caters for all handicappers when going in a group. Will definitely be going back again.

Excellent course, challenging, but not too difficult, and the holes offered plenty of variety.
