Jose Maria Olazabal, Spanish golfing legend and Ryder Cup icon, was the man recruited to create the courses at Club de Golf de Barcelona, and the result is a challenging par-72 layout that has matured well, and has hosted prestigious national professional events.
From the tournament tees the 18-hole championship course measures close to 7,000 yards, and in keeping with the ethos of its designer, demands shotmaking and creativity in bundles.
