The layout was designed by Ryder Cup star, Jose María Olazabal, and has become a regular choice for top national and international amateur events, in addition to being selected to host a European Tour qualifying event. The championship course is comprised from the 27 holes conceived by Olazabal, and at its full length will measure 6,601 yards. Some holes run alongside the spectacular Atlantic coastline, while further inland the course traverses the lush parkland, and the interesting variation makes Costa Ballena a very satisfying round.

Really enjoyed it, very quiet but lots of holiday properties in and around the course. Could be really busy during holiday season.

3 x 9 hole courses, all very flat but nevertheless interesting. Particularly good for beginners. No need for a buggy. Didn’t enjoy having to carry clubs to and from the hotel to the pro-shop.

The course was fine but the weather was a disaster and of course that has an impact on everything But I was disappointed that the bar/ restaurant didn’t accept your campaign offer “one free beer” The first day we didn’t get any even that we show the conditions you have written. We have to talk too the personal at the golf shop, they was very service minded.

The golf club is a little way from the hotel, maybe 1/4 mile, so a car is useful. However, clubs can be left at the club. There are 3 x 9 holes and all were in great condition. Greens were very fast. There is also a par 3 course, which we didn't try. Plenty of practice facilities including driving range, bunkers and pitching area and putting greens.
