Often forgotten, The Eden is a shorter course than its neighbours but at points its quirkiness, borne from the fantastic ground it graces, makes scoring difficult.
Complementing perfectly the traditional ‘out-and-back' links layouts that neighbout it, The Eden Course is a winding, at times intricate route that really rewards accuracy above all else.

The long par-4 second is the hardest hole on the course, while the 5th and 8th, a delightful pair of parallel par-3s may well be the gems. There are holes which run in all directions, which makes judging the wind that almost always whips off the estuary extremely difficult.
The Eden has its own clubhouse, which is also close to the driving range and Strathtyrum Course, and is part of the enjoyable experience of including The Eden in your next St Andrews golf tour.
