One of the few Robert Trent Jones Senior signature designs to be located outside southern Europe, Geneva is a remarkable parkland layout, encompassing expansive dog-legs, beautiful water hazards, row upon row of beautiful pines, and of course the mandatory views over the idyllic Lake Geneva.
The elder Trent Jones has a fantastic ability to create a smooth flow throughout his courses, and this is certainly evident at Geneva, where the challenge builds nicely to both the ninth and eighteenth holes; these two share a green, and are the suitable climax to two marvellous loops of nine.
