Golf was among the many hobbies of the great and the good, which is why the Duke of Windsor called upon esteemed designer Tom Simpson to create a fitting course at Chiberta, just minutes from Biarritz. Since its early days, Chiberta has changed little, and has benefited greatly from recent refurbishment to ensure that its condition matches its character.
One of the few coastal courses of real quality in the area, Chiberta remains a firm favourite with Biarritz regulars, and comes highly recommended for inclusion in a good golfing holiday of France's glamourous south west.
