Thank you for the arrangements you made for our recent golf break to Saint Saens. The trip was hugely successful with perfect accommodation, restaurant, hospitality and of course a wonderful golf course. Everyone on the trip enjoyed it thoroughly and we look forward to doing business again with you in the near future. Many thanks for all your help,
Peter Taylor
Just a line to say how much we enjoyed our short golf break last week. All very well organised, thank you very much, and the accommodation was superb. The course was a test, it was for us anyway! The food was worth dying for and the staff were most helpful, polite and pleasant. Worth another trip sometime, maybe. Thanks again,

What a flying start to our golf holiday in France: a two night stay and play golf break package at the Golf Hotel de Saint Saens. It took a little over two hours down the motorway from Calais and there we were. The hotel was easy to find but I had taken the trouble to plot the route using Google maps.
The reception and the check in process were very low-key, informal and friendly. We were immediately at ease and ready to relax and enjoy our golf trip to France.
Our bedroom, in the new annexe, was large, modern and comfortable. When we turned
up for dinner, in a cosy dining room, we were received with courtesy and
warmth. At first we thought we had been given the wrong menu: the choices for the
four courses were so good. The food itself was excellent and the wine, and other drinks, were
reasonably priced with a wide selection. Breakfast was self-service and more than
adequate. There was good choice for lunch and again it was reasonably priced.
The staff were very good: friendly, efficient and welcoming.
We both loved the golf course. It is quirky, interesting, a good test of golf for all levels,
and features an abundance with flora and fauna. The opening hole demands an accurate tee shot and on the lower levels water is a common hazard. From the sixth you climb up through the trees
and beyond that into more open areas of the course where the holes provide different
kinds of challenge as the long grass of the rough replaces the trees lower down.
What better way to finish off a round of golf than to enjoy a glass of beer or wine on the
patio at the rear of the hotel overlooking the last green.
One of the major attractions of this location is its individuality and lack of pretentiousness. Many golf resorts that we have visited, and enjoyed, have been slicker, larger, very efficient but somewhat impersonal. This is not true of Saint Saens.
I would rate our French golf break as a 9/10 and certainly intend to go back soon. I would also book through Your Golf Travel who provided an excellent service from start to finish. The value for money was also excellent and far superior to other golf travel companies I have used in the past...top marks!
