Old Course
The Old Course is actually Saltsjöbaden’s nine-holer, originally conceived in 1926 by Edwin Roberts to satisfy the Stockholm masses’ ever-growing interest in golf, and is still a really good, genuine test.

New Course
Added in 1976, Saltsjöbaden’s New Course has developed nicely into a mature parkland test that rivals most in the Stockholm, and is set in the beautiful Erstavik National Park, between the city and the archipelago.

From the championship tees, the New reaches 6,219 yards, which is not greatly long, but there are numerous challenges, particularly the expanses of water which infringe upon the layout.

The seaside hotel’s rich history began when King Oscar II returned from a trip to Monte Carlo in 1893 with notions of grandeur running through his head.
