Redesigned in 1907 by legendary golf architects James Braid and Harry Vardon from modest beginnings in 1892, modified once again in 1951 by G.K. Cotton, Hexham Golf Club now resides in what the Ryder Cup player Harry Weetman once described as the most beautiful setting for golf he had discovered.

Although within 20 miles of the heart of Newcastle, the course is blessed with glorious views of the surrounding countryside. The parkland layout consists of undulating fairways and challenging greens with subtle borrows that will test all levels of golfers.
Benefiting from a magnificent Georgian clubhouse along with an extensive range of facilities, Hexham is a great inclusion on a Northumberland tour.
