The outstanding Championship Course at the Is Molas resort was created by the Cotton, Pennink and Partners architectural association, in accordance with the design conceived by Piero Mancinelli.
Four times host to the Italian International Open, Is Molas' immaculate fairways have been pounded by famous names like Ian Woosnam and Bernhard Langer, while it was here that Vijay Singh burst on to the golfing scene with victory in the 1989 Volvo Open.
The resort also has a good nine-hole Academy Course, designed by Franco Piras, an associate of the Gary Player Design company. Although not as challenging as the Championship layout, the short course is perfect for a warm up, or for those still learning the game.
With fantastic views of the Sardinian hills and down towards the shoreline, Is Molas, with its two great golfing options, is a delightful place to enjoy some holiday golf.
