Part of one of the largest leisure complexes in eastern Europe, the Krakow Valley Club has a superb golf course that is helping to put Poland on the golfing map. Californian architect Ronald Fream was charged with the task of creating a championship standard parkland course which would be the jewel in the Krakow crown.
Fream’s pedigree is visible in past projects in France, and his talent was nurtured under the guidance of the great Robert Trent Jones. The par 72 layout reaches 7,218 yards from the tournament tees, and is carved through the estate’s dense forest and woodland.
Wide, rolling fairways and massive greenside bunkers are the predominant characteristics around the Krakow Valley course, which is designed in accordance with USGA construction principles. Always maintained in immaculate condition, the Krakow Valley Country Club is a highly recommended component of a golfing adventure to historic Krakow.
