It may be a municipal golf course, but La Caňada is fortunate enough to have been designed by two of the game's great architects. The two loops that make up the championship course were formulated respectively by Robert Trent Jones and Dave Thomas.

The two distinct nines offer a considerable challenge, but La Caňada is not so difficult that the spectacular views of the Mediterranean coast will be spoiled. Undulating fairways and fast, sloping greens are characteristic of the course which is bordered by banks of amazing indigenous trees.
Being designed for the passionate local golfers, La Caňada is a genuine test of golf with a no-frills attitude, but the pure test of golf attracts visitors back again and again.
