LA FINCA GOLF RESORT AND SPA

We just got back from our lads golf break in Spain and it was awesome!

We stayed at the La Finca Golf Resort and played La Finca, Las Ramblas and Villamartin. We thought they were all great courses which were in terrific nick when we were there. Las Ramblas was our favourite course as there were heaps of blind holes that kept us all guessing the whole way round.

The hotel was great although we didn’t spend too much time there as we were out and about exploring. The rooms were perfect for what we were after but im not sure the hotel was ready for 24 of us Kiwi boys!

Your Golf Travel were great and we want you guys to start thinking about another golf holiday for us in October or November. Same deal as before...3 nights and a bit of golf at a snip. I’m sure you’ll sort us out!

We just returned from a golf break at the La Finca Resort in Spain. It has an excellent golf course with very good greens and impressive water holes. From the tee it’s Very forgiving and not the longest golf course so it is suitable for golfers of all standards and therefore a good course for a golf holiday. The clubhouse is nice and the food is excellent and served until late.

We also played at Golf Las Ramblas which we found to be a difficult golf course. Again the course was in excellent condition lots of blind tee shots mean you often have to hit two off the tee just to make sure there is a ball waiting for you in the fairway! Not suitable for high handicappers but again there was a good clubhouse with good food at reasonable prices.

Our final round was at Villamartin which is an excellent golf course with some fantastic holes. Although a little dry and dusty in places this was our favourite course. The greens were excellent and the staff looked after us very well.

As always Your Golf Travel were excellent. Fast, efficient and very good value for money. As you are aware this is the 6th time I have booked a trip through YGT and I always tell people about your website and will continue to do so.

The first thing to say about a Your Golf Travel golf break to La Finca Spa and Golf Resort is that it represents excellent value for money. Anybody who knows the cost of green fees in Spain will surely endorse this. This was our second golf break to La Finca this year and the friends we were with were very impressed with the whole package.

The hotel is truly a five star establishment. The en-suite rooms are spacious and comfortable with all the amenities expected in a hotel of this standard. Our rooms overlooked the tenth fairway while on the other wing of the hotel, rooms look out on the recreation area with the large pool, tennis courts and gardens. Everyone we met at the hotel and the golf courses made us feel most welcome. In the area of the hotel there are many places to eat, offering meals to suit all tastes. The bars at the three golf clubs also serve basic meals and drinks at very reasonable prices.

The package consists of Bed and breakfast, three rounds of golf on three different courses, transfers to the courses and free buggies...all we had to do was enjoy the golf! We arrived on a Monday and played the course at La Finca that afternoon. It was in excellent condition. There is quite a lot of water to negotiate throughout the course, including an island green on the 5th, so a supply of spare balls is essential. During the following days we played the courses at Villamartin and Las Ramblas, both about 30 minutes ride from La Finca. Las Ramblas is considered by many to be the most challenging of the three courses. There are a number of tee positions which require a long carry over the gorges.

All in all our Spanish golf holiday was a real success and we have already started recommending Your Golf Travel to other golfers.
