You will be pleased to hear that the weekend worked out extremely well with the accommodation and food being excellent and the course probably being as good as possible considering the conditions. Thanks again for all your organisation of our golf break. Regards,
Chris
Just a quick note to say we had an excellent weekend at the manor of groves golf hotel. The staff in both the hotel and the clubhouse were very polite and very helpfull, they even managed to get us an earlier tee time on sunday which was appreciated as the original time was 14.50. We will look forward to booking another break with you in the near future. Please pass our comments on to anyone concerned. Thanks very much again.

Just a quick note to thank-you. We all had a great time and everything including food, accommodation and golf were all excellent. We will be looking for another break probably in September at Belton Woods. Cheers

Many thanks for the organising of the trip for us last weekend everybody had a great time although the course was a bit wet suffering from the downpours earlier in the week. This did not spoil our enjoyment though, the food was excellent and the staff at the hotel very good.

We just returned yesterday after a most enjoyable golf break and wondered if there were any more special deals like that at the same venue. Many thanks,

Just a short message to let you know how much we enjoyed our weekend at the Manor of Groves. It was to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday, and they made it a very memorable weekend for the whole family. The staff were extremely good and very friendly and the food in the restaurant was very tasty. The golf course was very attractive, challenging, but everyone enjoyed it. I would thoroughly recommend the hotel to anyone. Thank you for your help in booking the weekend. Much appreciated, best wishes

Hi, Harry, just wanted to give you some feedback on our weekend golf break at Manor of Groves.
We went on a Sunday driver so had our first tee time in the afternoon on the day of our arrival. The course was fairly quiet which was great as we didn’t feel rushed or in a hurry.
The hotel was amazing, as was the food and it was unanimous that it was the best so far.
It was a coincidence that when we arrived we bumped into 20 ladies that we knew from two golf clubs 2 miles up the road from us!
All in all the weekend was really good so thanks for all your help in organising our golf break. We will be in touch for our September weekend.

We booked a golf break with Your Golf Travel and I have to say the value for money was outstanding. We booked a golf holiday package to play two rounds at Manor of Groves with dinner, bed and breakfast included.
Check in was quick and easy and as we had arrived before our rooms were ready the hotel held our bags for us while we played our first round of golf. The golf course was in great nick and we couldn’t find a fault in its presentation from start to finish. Many of the holes are doglegs meaning length is not all that important...good news for my wife and I as we are both high handicappers! The clubhouse was a great place to finish off the round. Very pretty from the outside and warm and cosy inside with fair prices for both food and drink.
The hotel was great and the room was fantastic. We soaked and relaxed in the pool and hot tub before going to our dinner. Dinner was great as it was a 3 course meal with great options to choose from and very much filled us both up. The breakfast the next morning was the best breakfast buffet that I have ever had. There was a vast selection of cereals, fruits, and lots of hot cooked options.
All in all this was a perfect weekend away and a very good place to enjoy it at! We fully recommend both Manor of Groves and Your Golf Travel for anyone looking to book a UK golf break. Since returning we have already booked a golf holiday for the Christmas holidays.

Just back from the Manor of Groves after what turned out to be a brilliant weekend golf break all round.
Approaching the complex through the large roadside pillars, bisecting the golf course before reaching what looked like an old colonial manor house was spectacular and got us all excited by what was to come.
The hotel reception was in the glass conservatory where the staff were both courteous and extremely helpful, relaying all the required information. The rooms were very spacious, clean, and warm with the added advantage of a daily change of towels. Food in the brasserie was excellent with a different menu both nights with a varied choice of international favourites on each. The price of the drinks was pretty reasonable as well, given that we were close to the capital.
Our wives are non golfers and made good use of the spa during our time on the golf course and very positive reports came back from them.
The golf course was excellent bedecked with numerous trees capturing the odd wayward shot. Low handicappers may think the course a little short with some par 4`s requiring only a medium wood and short iron to the green but it was challenging nonetheless. The greens were very receptive and a delight to putt on. The club house was welcoming and friendly with the added advantage of being able to wear golf shoes in the building!
Overall for the golf, hotel, food and spa, this location is great value for money and probably the best golf venue that we have visited on a golf break so far.
The package put together by Your Golf Travel was produced professionally with little fuss, even with me changing the date and the tee times, and I would certainly recommend YGT to anyone requiring a top class golf holiday.

We really enjoyed our golf break at Manor of Groves. I think a lot of us would admit we found the course tough but that may be down to our golfing abilities rather than anything else! It was an enjoyable course to play despite the challenge and it certainly gives us something to aim for! We took great joy when one of the much better players in the group teed off from the ladies markers without realising. He had nowhere to hide and was penalised heavily I'm afraid!
The clubhouse was very smart but generally quiet so unfortunately lacked a bit of jovial atmosphere. This wasn’t the end of the world because our group generally amuse themselves anyway!
We found the Hotel to be really good and the food was also great. The lads were well impressed with the A la Carte and unfortunately they may not be getting food of that standard when they get home!
We found the drinks to be a bit pricey but not over the top. A bottle of Rose was about £20.00 but we do take into account where we were and the standard of cuisine involved. The breakfast was exceptional and it really hit the spot and got us ready for another crack at the golf course.
Lastly thank you for your great organisational skills at Your Golf Travel. Anytime I rang with a query your patience was appreciated. I certainly would not have any qualms with booking future golf breaks with you again in the future.

We arrived at the Manor of Groves in just under an hour after leaving central London...not too shabby at all and a good start to our weekend golf break!
Manor of Groves boasts a very welcoming atmosphere, even for a bunch of hackers like ourselves! The tee times were well managed and we were able to get our first round in before we lost the light. The golf course was great and the greens in particular were in fantastic condition for this time of year. I always find on these weekend golf breaks that if you look forward to playing the same course again on the second day it's a good sign, and that was certainly the case at Manor of Groves.
Checking in and out was painless and the members of staff throughout the entire place were friendly and accommodating! The breakfast was delicious and thoroughly needed after a night out in the heart of Essex!
All in all our Manor of Groves golf break was great and was certainly outstanding value for money. We will definitely be back to Your Golf Travel for future golf breaks and would highly recommend your services to other golfers.
