We really enjoyed our weekend away, it felt like a real holiday. What a beautiful course, well kept greens, good signage and a challenging course to play. Thank you for requesting the upgrade, we had a suite which was lovely. Spacious, clean and the most comfortable bed! The staff at the hotel reception were courteous and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. I'd mark them 10 out of 10. The gym - wow! and the pool - gorgeous! Hi! What a brill w/e we had, fantastic and all went well, except one of our girls got hit by a ball from one of our own team. The hotel were superb, took her to the Hospital etc but all is well, she played on Monday we are tough old birds at Wexham. (I will write to Hotel to say thanks). Thanks for your help. Regards,

Thank you for your very efficient and organized execution of our short weekend golf break at Meon Valley. Your service was spot on and so was the golf break package we bought from you. Great value for money at a great venue for a golf holiday.

We found the hotel quite easily with the directions as printed off from your web site. The hotel was very welcoming and the attitude of all the staff was excellent; they were always smiling and eager to help. We had arrived for an early afternoon tee time and unfortunately had to abandon the golf after just eight holes thanks to some atrocious weather! There was water flowing over the greens and the fairways such was the magnitude of the downpour! When we went to the reception for access to our rooms only two rooms had been allocated - we had booked three as we were a party of three couples. This hiccup was easily overcome by the staff and within minutes they had checked us into three lovely, modern rooms which were very well equipped – TV, iron, hair dryer, tea/coffee, fridge etc.

Upon arriving for dinner we found a very accommodating and professional dining room manager who was backed up by a team of great waitresses. The quality of the service was reflected by the quality of the food, which really was very good. The breakfast the following morning was also excellent. The selection was vast - everything you could possibly want and again with great quality and service.

We played golf the next day in much better weather. It was sunny and warm and apart from the bunkers you wouldn’t have known the course had had so much rain the previous day. It was obviously a course that had been invested into and it had drained brilliantly. The course was in good condition; a really challenging but playable layout for all abilities with excellent greens.

Overall this package was superb value for the money and if our wives were happy then so were we! We would recommend this hotel to anybody and the same goes for Your Golf Travel.

Once again thank you for all your service. We would certainly use you and your company for our next golf trip.

Our recent golf break to Meon Valley was our forth with Your Golf Travel and we have been mightily impressed with the service and value for money you provide time and time again. We have already booked our fifth golf holiday with you to Vilamoura in October.

Our golf trip to Meon Valley was for nine originally and quickly turned to twelve...a problem YGT were unfazed over and the amendments were made to our booking swiftly.

All of us were impressed with the golf course. It was of a decent length and would provide a good test for most golfers...the really low guys might find it a tad easy but I would imagine they would still enjoy it.

We had read that the bar prices were a bit expensive, but this was not the case. I think people should live in London before labelling something as expensive! The evening meal was faultless and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. All the hotel staff were excellent and they made the golf break a real delight.

To top things off we had two glorious days of weather with pretty respectful scoring. The only regret was that we didn’t have enough time to use the other facilities at the hotel. The group found the golf holiday package great value for money and would rate it 9/10.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Old Thorns golf break. It’s a great hotel and the golf course could not be better. It was a shame that we missed some of our golf as bad weather closed the course but nothing can be done about that! We are looking forward to our next golf break and will be back to Your Golf Travel when the time comes.

We enjoyed our golf break at Meon Valley very much and would recommend it and YGT to other golfers. The Valley Course doesn’t quite live up to the Meon Course but both are in good condition considering the time of the year. We hired buggies for both rounds and it was great to be able to go all over the course on them as so many resorts insist on sticking to the cart paths these days!

The hotel was good as well although we will be going elsewhere for our next golf break just for the variety! YGT have been great all through the booking process and we will be back to you for our next golf break.
