La Mer is the most prestigious of Omaha's three courses, and benefits from a spectacular location on the cliff-top overlooking the harbour at Port-en-Bessin. Holes 2 and 6 are the most memorable, with outstanding views of the artificial wartime Allied harbour and the English Channel. Measuring 3,099 yards, La Mer will be a certain highlight of your visit to Omaha Beach.
Le Bocage (The Hedgerow Course) combines with La Mer to formulate the recognised championship course at Omaha Beach. Bordered by classical Norman flora and fauna - the wonderful rhododendrons are a particular highlight - the Hedgerow builds to a mighty crescendo with two terrific closing holes. The 17th and 18th are tough par-4s, whose strategic bunkering provides a real challenge.
Omaha Beach's third loop is called L'Etang, or The Pond, and although it is shorter than the resort's two more established courses, the presence of water looms large over many holes. With views of the historic cathedral at Bayeux, L'Etang is a stunning place to enjoy a round of golf, and adds much to the intriguing character at Omaha Beach.
The individual holes on La Mer are each named in recognition of the generals who played a prominent role in the Normandy Landings.

Just to say thanks for arranging my two golfing breaks to Omaha Beach and Praia d'el Ray. They both went without a hitch (apart from the rain in France!), and we had a great time.We will certainly use your company next time.Cheers
We had a great golfing weekend at Omaha Beach! The arrangements were perfect and everything worked as it should have, for which we are all very grateful. The new 9 hole extension to the Manoir is magnificent and it is always a joy to play the “Mer” section. We are hoping our trip will become an annual fixture. Many thanks for your help! Kind regards,
