Every hole around Pearl Valley is set against the backdrop of
the mountains of the Western Cape,
and Nicklaus’ trademark of great, shallow expanses of sand is evident
throughout the design. The Golden Bear opened the course with an inaugural
match with Gary Player in 2003, and since then, Pearl Valley has garnered many international awards.
