Ramside Hall’s three loops are named the Princes, Cathedral and Bishops, and while they are all complementary, their individual character offers welcome variation. Ramside Hall Hotel and Golf Club was formerly owned by the Pemberton family, but since its conversion to a hotel in 1963, it has been one of the north-east’s premier leisure and golf break destinations.
Friendly service, superb value and a warm family atmosphere are the fundamentals at Ramside Hall, whose hotel a stunning and elegant façade. This traditional period frontage is contrasted by the comfort and convenience of the interior.
All the individually designed and decorated bedrooms are complete with satellite television, radio, direct dial telephones, hair dryers, and tea and coffee making facilities.

Ramside's new restaurant The Rib Room Steakhouse & Grill has "raised the steaks" in hotel dining. The New York/French style brasserie, with a wine list of 150+, has an extensive and well priced menu where succulent steaks are the house special. The local well matured Durham bred meat is on view in the meat locker in The Rib Room, which is a great place to enjoy a superb steak after golf.
Pembertons Rotisserie & Carvery is open every day from 7.00am until 10.00pm serving a vast array of fresh food through the day. English Breakfast, snacks, patisserie, coffee tea menu, Lunch and Dinner are available, in addition to a Sunday roast every day of the week. The well stocked bar is an integral part of Pembertons.
The Golf Clubhouse - the 19th or 28th hole, depending on the course you play - serves snacks and meals all day. Perfect for golfers in terms of quality, quantity and price, the beautifully furnished bar has large tv screens showing sport channels plus a billiards room.
