Bordered by the famous heather of Provence, whose scent pervades throughout the course, Sainte-Maxime is a Cote d'Azur classic, laid out over some 150 acres of beautiful foothills. Elevated tees, great clefts and gullies, and tricky water hazards characterise the course's opening half, while the closing stretch traverses an elevated plateau that affords spectacular views of the Maures and Esterel massifs.
The 6,703 yard layout was opened in 1990, and has since established a terrific reputation for the quality of both its design and condition, making it the perfect golfing complement to a stay at the 4* Amarante Golf Plaza.
