SAUJANA GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB

The Saujana Golf and Country Club is cemented as Malaysia's best golf resort, boasting two internationally renowned courses, both of which are laid out in the sticky heat over the amazing landscape around sprawling Kuala Lumpur.

Palm Course
The Palm Course, formulated by the esteemed Ronald Fream, whose portfolio extends across the globe, is the country's best, and since 1962 has been the regular home of the Malaysian Open. In addition to the relentless heat, the Palm Course presents an exacting test of golf from every angle.

Thick Bermuda rough demands straight driving, but sacrificing distance for accuracy will leave long approach shots into relatively small greens. The often severe slopes and gradients on the putting surfaces necessitate a delicate touch, and places a huge emphasis on leaving an uphill putt. The mystique of Saujana pervades throughout the magical Palm Course, which remains the undoubted king of Malaysian golf.

Bunga Raya (Crocodile) Course
Also designed by Ronald Fream, the Bunga Raya is the second course at the Saujana Golf and Country Club. Carved through old rubber and palm plantations, the Bunga Raya, or ‘Crocodile' as it is best known, is relatively short at 6,819 yards, but it remains a stern test of golf.

The Bunga Raya is the perfect complement to the more established Palm Course, ensuring that the Saujana Country Club remains Malaysia's finest.
