Located on the Norfolk coastline to the north of Norwich, Sheringham may not be a household golfing name, but it is home to a truly charming course. The layout is perched on the cliffs, spanning a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and celebrated its centenary in 1991.

Sheringham Golf Club is wedged between the cliffs and the preserved North Norfolk Railway Line, and is a golfing institution where little has changed over the past century.
The 6,456 yard layout has a demanding par of 70, and is known particularly for the ferocity of its par 4s. These holes are the key to manufacturing a good score, but with the wind invariably blowing hard, that is easier said than done.
This welcoming club is arguably one of the most satisfying and endearing options that can be included in a golf tour along the rugged Norfolk coastline.
