Located very near the centre of Jerez, Sherry Golf has emerged recently as a prominent destination for leading professional and amateur events, while also remaining ideal for golfing tourists.

The par-72 championship and the short par-3 course were both designed by Stirling and Martin of the Global Golf Company. The fairways are wide, and the greens are large and undulating, but with the course measuring 7,185 yards from the back tees, powerful striking is required to score well. This is not to say that Sherry will overwhelm the average player; as is the case with any good new resort course, there is a good variety of tees, with one to suit all visitors.
The championship course is complemented by the entertaining short course and a state-of-the-art tuition and practice academy, underlining the resort's outstanding quality. A golfing holiday in the Jerez region of Cadiz should certainly include a visist to Sherry Golf.
Sherry has recently been chosen to host full amateur international matches and also a European Tour qualifying event.
