After reading the reviews before leaving we were surprised that not much of them were correct. We stayed for 5 nights and apart from the hotel been a bit dated it was spot on. Food and drinks on all inclusive is possibly one of the best we have visited and would definitely go again

Stayed here 3 times now, close to everything. You can hear the music from Veronica's strip nut that didn't bother us. Breakfast and dinner was good choices with the added bonus of wine, sangria and beer available at dinner included in your stay.

They put us on the 10th floor and after the noise stopped from the nightclub downstairs at 5am the builders on the 11th floor started banging and hammering all day. We were not told that building work was going on and when we complained we received a shrug and were told it would be going on the rest of the week. My son and I promptly left the property and booked somewhere else. This is not a 4star hotel it is more suited to being called a hostel. I suggest yourgolftravel take it off its books asap.

The Sol Hotel is literally next door to the strip which means it will be lively until late into the night and early hours of the morning. In terms of noise this wasn’t too much of a problem for us but could imagine it could be for some. The location however did mean that we were pestered by drug dealers and “other” unwanted offerings as soon as we walked out of the hotel. The hotel itself is fine albeit dated but our room strangely had only one power point, so not ideal. The staff were helpful when needed so no issues there. The main negative for us was really the location but nicer areas were in easy walking distance or a relatively cheap taxi ride.

The hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment. Tired, dated property. No English language TV channels. No internal bar service. Noise levels are unacceptable! Breakfast food is varied, but the hot offering is tepid at best.

Very uncomfortable bed, and the music plays on the strip until 6.30am so it’s fairly difficult to sleep, not ideal when you have nice morning tee times.

Poor hotel, in a very poor area. Overlooking the main strip in Playa de los Americas. Loud music until half 5 in the morning. Open drug dealing, and prostitution. Would not recommend. Very intimidating area.
