SOUILLAC COUNTRY CLUB
Set against the spectacular backdrop of the Dordogne countryside, the golf course at Souillac Country Club is a joy to behold. Architect Jeremy Pern rescued the existing 6-hole layout from the overgrowth, and since its official opening in 2003, Souillac has been a favourite of the south-west.
From almost every tee, golfers can enjoy panoramic views of the idyllic surroundings, while the golf course presents a fair challenge for golfers of all abilities. Though not particularly long, Souillac’s par-67 layout is thoroughly enjoyable, and perfect for relaxing holiday golf.

The local area around Souillac is known as Perigord Noir, as the foliage of the innumerable oak and chestnut trees turns dark as the sun sets. Explore this traditional Dordogne region, enjoying the towering chateaux and sampling the truffles for which the area is known.
