On behalf of our society I would like to gratefully thank you for the wonderful package you put together for us at Staverton Park in October.
Nothing could be found to fault and we are eargerly awaiting to what package we can assemble next year.
There is some talk of going abroad and I am sure that we can discuss at a later date.
I will also be sending my thanks to Staverton Park.
Again, thanks a lot and much love.

Your Golf Travel organised a very good golf break to Staverton Park and due to the success of the trip and the value for money we got we will 100% be booking future golf holidays with YGT!
Staverton Park was a really beautiful parkland course with wide fairways, small lakes and very well kept greens. We played 3 rounds and it was never boring. We all hope that you have another offer there in the autumn as I’m sure the course will look beautiful at that time of the year!
Everyone at the club was friendly and made us feel very welcome-as we are Devere members we got 20% off all our food and wine so it was very good value on top of the already excellent YGT golf break deal.
As you had said the hotel was geared for conferences and golf so there was no a la carte dining and the food was fairly ordinary but there was plenty of it and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Complimentary tea and coffee, biscuits and fruit in the guestrooms were a bonus!
Travelling down from Norfolk we were there in less than 3 hours and the venue was easy to find.
Thanks once again to you for your friendly service which was excellent in every way! Value for money and quality of service - 10/10!

Boy, did we have a great time on our Staverton Park golf break!
The golf course is in good condition apart from the first 6 greens as they had been spiked recently. They weren’t unplayable as they had been done a week before we arrived but due to weather temperament, they had not fully healed. Unfortunate.
Playing off the yellows we found the course to be quite easy and our first day winner came in with 45 points! I would recommend playing off whites to other golfers. On the third day of the golf break some of the lads went out to play another few holes which were given to them free of charge and the pro shop even threw in the buggies! A marvellous gesture!
The hotel was very accommodating and gave us our own room for dinner on all three nights. They assigned the duty manager Ewan to tend to our needs and he ensured we were taken care of brilliantly. There are complimentary teas & coffees both at reception and the clubhouse which was a nice touch as the prices of beers was a bit high. The rooms they allocated to us were surprisingly modern but the showers were disappointing.
Overall Staverton Park was good but we have been on other golf breaks that have surpassed it in terms of quality. I have been dealing with Your Golf Travel for some seasons now and find them to be very competitive and we will certainly be booking more golf breaks in the future.

On the whole our Staverton Park golf break was very good value for money. Due to the very dry weather the course was a little bare in places which was a shame but unavoidable I guess! On the other hand this ensured fast running greens which were were very good indeed.
The golf course was suitable for a mixed group which was perfect for our golf break as we had 20 golfers with handicaps ranging from 8 to 24. The fairways are generous as were the greens and as long as you can avoid the water you can get round safely.
The hotel facilities were excellent and there were plenty of staff members around to help with any queries. The food we got included in the golf break package we bought was very good as well.
One little niggle was the prices of the drinks which unfortunately is becoming the norm for golf resorts of this stature.

We planned our trip some six months ago and hoped the weather in November would be kind to us! As it turned out we played in T-shirts...a bizarre experience at the start of the English ‘winter’!
However we all arrived at between 12.00 and 13.00 on Weds. 2nd November to what turned out to be a beautiful day weather wise, our first tee time was 14.32 and after a light lunch in the golf complex and then checking into our superb rooms we hired some buggies and headed off to the first tee.
The course is not very long but it is challenging and on the Wednesday afternoon we played nine holes which was most enjoyable. Dinner that evening was in the hotel restaurant where we enjoyed good food and after some reminiscing and a few drinks we retired to bed.
Breakfast the following morning was very good and set us up for the full 18 holes, which again was played from buggies. We got a good deal from the Pro Shop on the buggies and the staff there were very polite and helpful.
We relaxed in the Spa area with a swim, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room which helped relax the muscles before having an afternoon drink and rest. Dinner in the evening was of the same quality as on Wednesday so after a few more drinks everyone retired at about midnight again.
Overall we would mark the venue and facilities 9 out of 10, not a ten because some of the ladies wanted to go shopping and not much close by!
