Ben Crenshaw and Bill Coore came together to create two terrific courses at Talking Stick Golf Club, which has built up an impressive reputation with visitors to Arizona’s golfing paradise. Located on land still owned by Pima-Maricopa Indians, the courses reflect the desire of Crenshaw and Coore to integrate golf appreciatively into the indigenous terrain.

North Course
The North Course at Talking Stick is the more established and certainly the more challenging, presenting golfers with a diverse collection of holes carved into the Arizona desert. Closely cropped run-off areas and fringes surround the crowned putting surfaces, while the dog-legs and sculpted fairways demand a balance between power and accuracy. 7,133 yards from the tips, the North Course is a genuine championship test.
South Course
Talking Stick’s South Course is less demanding than its substantial sibling, and represents a more laid back Scottsdale experience. It is 6,833 yards from the back markers, and unlike the North, it is lined with trees, adding great definition. Spectacular views add to the awesome experience of including Talking Stick in your golf escape to sunny Arizona.
