The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Location is right next to the Victoria course with good views from the pool area, we enjoyed a very relaxing Saturday afternoon lying by the pool in the sunshine after our game in the morning. In summary a fine hotel, I would stay there again. Regards

We all had a great time in Portugal and it looks as though the hotel will be one of the best in Portugal. Highly recommend it to your customers, regards

We just arrived home from our golf break in Portugal and were very impressed with all the courses, the hotel and the service we received from everyone involved.
We stayed at the Tivoli Victoria Vilamoura hotel and it was top notch. The room was definitely fitting of its five star status. We enjoyed our breakfast at the hotel every day but chose to venture out into Vilamoura for our evening meals. The facilities at the hotel were of the highest standard and after a round of golf the spa and the outdoor swimming pool were perfect for freshening up for the evening’s festivities. Being so close to the Victoria course was an added bonus.
All of the courses we played were great but some were a bit better than others. The layouts were all brilliant but the conditioning varied from course to course.
The Victoria course was superb and we had the pleasure of playing it twice. Both rounds were completed in excellent time and we thought the course was a difficult test and perhaps not suited to the higher handicappers.
We thought the O’Connor course was absolutely brilliant although again it was a tough test with all the water on the course. We particularly like their version of Augusta’s Amen Corner. The course was in immaculate condition and we will be playing it again on our next Algarve golf holiday.
The Faldo course was nice but in our opinion didn’t live up to the Victoria and the O’Connor courses. The fairways were undulating and unfortunately the greens and fairways weren’t in the same condition as the other courses. This course would probably suit better payers who can shape the ball in either direction and employ good course management.
The Laguna course was shorter than the others and our round there went very quickly. Some work needs to be done on a couple of the greens but apart from that we had no complaints. This is a good little course that should be included on a golf tour of the Algarve.
All of the clubhouses were welcoming and served good food and cold beer at a surprisingly reasonable price.
Vilamoura itself was a fast paced shock to the senses and would be a great place for group of guys or girls to visit on a golf holiday.
Overall our verdict was a 9 out of 10 and we thought the trip compared favourably to other golf breaks we had been on in Portugal. The service from Your Golf Travel was excellent and we were particularly impressed with your handling of our delay thanks to the ash cloud. We didn’t have to worry too much and in the end were put up for an extra couple of days in the Algarve sun!
I will be back in touch for any future golf holidays.
