Torquay Golf Club was founded in 1909, and the course was inaugurated with an exhibition match featuring J.H. Taylor, a five-time Open champion.

Today, the golf course is one of Devon’s best, and is laid out across a stunning tract of parkland near the centre of Torquay itself. Stunning views over Lyme Bay, Torbay and across to Dartmoor embellish the golfing experience, while the course itself is a fair test for every golfer.
