The resort was excellent, and so was the golf, with its two beautiful courses. Every member in our party enjoyed staying at the Villaintana resort, and one couple stayed a further night. The five star rooms were incredible and very comfortable, it was truly a treat and I would certainly be going to the same resort again.

It was a thoroughly enjoyable golf break, with everthing running very smoothly, and benidorm certainly lived up to it's reputation, but it was quite nice that it was not peak summer as I am sure it is absolutely heaving at that time of year. The hotel was very nice and the golf course was perfect for our group which was a range of standards in terms of golf, so no one really struggled. The Viliatana resort was 5 star all round. The accommodation was the best we have ever stayed in and the courses were shockingly good. Levante was a true championship course and the small course was a bit of a shock too. When I looked at the scorecard and saw ten par 3’s I thought we were getting a pitch & put course, but to our surprise it was very challenging and thoroughly enjoyable. All in all everything ran smoothly and we are looking forward to going back. Your service was excellent and will hopefully be using you next year.

The Hotel is very easy to find and is well signposted all the way, we were picked up at the airport and we were very pleased with the professional, prompt service from transfers you had arranged. The approach to the Villaitana Hotel is very impressive and checking in was very easy and stress free, our luggage was put into a locked area whilst we were shown to a 6 seater buggy to be taken to the clubhouse which is 1 minute away from reception. The clubhouse or the 19th hole is situated right next to both courses and the 1st tee. Above that is a very smart veranda with a bar and friendly waiter service which is excellent by the way and not expensive. Firstly I had a hole in one on the 7th on the Poniente Course...not the worst thing that can happen to a golfer on a golf holiday! I would advise people to take a lot of balls as this course is very penal. If you are off the fairway then you will run the risk of losing your ball. I would also highly recommend hiring a buggy as it is a very hilly course. With ten par threes this is obviously shorter than their championship course but has a fantastic selection of short holes, most of the tees are elevated and you get great views the whole way around the course. Some drivable par 4`s add an element of fun to the course. The Levante course was absolutely brilliant and well worth the wait. This is definitely not a bombers course as the strategically placed bunkers require you to plot your way round carefully. This course was in great condition and everyone who played would love to play it again. Our only negative about both courses was that the bunkers had very little sand and a lot were GUR with blue posts in them. Overall very good value for money, YGT had a great deal on and we plan to go back.

The Hotel was just fantastic. Our rooms were huge, the food was great and the service matched the standards of all else on offer. The collection of spa facilities including the four different pools were perfect for chilling out in the late afternoon and early evenings.The resort’s location is perfect as it is only a short taxi ride to the Old Town and it only cost 10 Euros to get there. The tapas in the restaurants there was awesome and I would definitely recommend heading down to the town for at least one meal.I would also like to thank YGT for the good info, speedy replies and their genral contribution that made the holiday what it was. Overall I would give our golf break in Spain 9/10. It was one of the best we have been on and we all agreed we would book our next golf holiday with YGT.

The Villaitana Wellness, Golf and Sun resort was excellent in every way. From the five star accommodation to the top class golf courses, everything about our golf break in Spain was top drawer. In fact the resort was so good a couple from our party decided to stay for an additional night!

The rooms were incredible as were all of the facilities in the hotel. We particularly enjoyed the spa facilities as we thought they were an excellent way to recharge the batteries following a round of golf.

The Levante Course was obviously our favourite although the Poniente course was perfectly enjoyable and we would recommend it as a course to play when you are getting a bit weary during the latter stages of a golf holiday.

We booked the package for 4 nights and three rounds and we wish we had booked a longer stay! We will be going back to this resort for our next golf break and we will certainly be booking with Your Golf Travel when we do!

As expected we had a great time during our golf break in Villaitana and having been there last year we knew what was in store!

The Levante course was excellent but maybe a bit too challenging for our group! The Poniente was a fun alternative and both courses were in tip top condition. The clubhouse is really nice and a great place to enjoy a cold beer after a round.

The hotel was really comfortable and transfers to and from the local town were cheap and cheerful. We didn’t eat at the hotel much but when we did it was excellent.

Although we love Villaitana we are aware of what else is waiting for us to sample in Spain. I am not the organiser next year but the chap who will be in charge will be contacting Your Golf Travel for ideas and suggestions. Thanks for the great golf holiday.

Dear Your Golf Travel,

We have just got back from our golf holiday in the Villaitana Golf Resort. I have to say I thought both the Levante and Poniente golf courses were excellent for all abilities. The handicaps in our group ranged from 6 to 28 and every single player enjoyed the courses equally...the perfect recipe for a group golf break. The condition of the fairways and greens was excellent and it was obvious someone with some considerable knowledge of game was in charge of their design...Jack Nicklaus!

The clubhouse was also lovely and it was good value as well. The selection of food was good and everything we had was delicious. The view over the golf course from the balcony wasn’t bad either and we could even get a glimpse of the sea.

The hotel was one of the best we have experienced and we weren’t even in the five star one! The facilities were top notch and so were the restaurants...everything about the accommodation reflected the quality of the golf at the resort. All in all our entire group rated the hotel as a 10 out of 10.

This was the first time I have booked a golf trip with Your Golf Travel and it will certainly not be the last! The experience was pain free and the value for money we got was unbelievable. I'll be back to book again for our 2012 golf trip when we would likely be looking for a large golf resort in Portugal with a selection of 2 or 3 different challenging golf courses. I’m sure you will point us in the right direction and we are looking forward to going on another golf break with YGT!

A big thanks to everyone at Your Golf Travel for all the hard work that went into our golf holiday to the Villaitana Golf Resort. We have been on many golf breaks in Spain and this one has shot to the top of our list of golf holiday destinations. This was our first golf trip with YGT and I can now confirm it will definitely not be the last!

All of our travel arrangements from transfers and tee times to checking in and our accommodation were spot on and the organisation of the whole golf holiday was flawless.

The venue itself is a golf haven in the Costa Blanca and we hope to return here on future golf breaks. Villaitana is a truly five star experience and everything about the resort is top class. Our rooms were lavish and comfortable, the facilities were extensive, the service was unrivalled and the food and drink on offer was out of this world. If guests fancy a cheaper night then Benidorm is just a short drive away so the location is good as well. We however, never felt the need to leave the resort!

The Levante course was spectacular and we loved the Jack Nicklaus design. The sweeping undulations and world class putting greens made it a joy to play. Unfortunately work was being done on the bunkers so there was very little sand in them. This was both good and bad as it made greenside bunker shots very difficult but made approaches from fairway bunkers a piece of cake! The backdrop as seen from all over the course is a more than suitable support act to this stunning course. The short course was enjoyable although it didn’t live up to the standard set by its big brother! When we return we will probably just stick to the Levante. Being a good course for beginners obviously means that better players may find the slow play frustrating on a busy day as well.

All in all, we had a fantastic time and many thanks for your services in organising our golf trip. The lads all agreed that it represented great value and of course I was happy to accept all the praise for this! I’m Secretary of a Golf Society and certainly intend to be in touch when I organise our next golf tour.

The hotel was top class and great value for money. We thought the prices for drinks in the clubhouse and in the hotel were very good value and as far as our experiences of golf breaks in Europe goes; this one was the best value for money for a total package we have been on. 10 out of 10 for an excellent golf trip.

The Levante course was gorgeous and I cannot wait to play more Jack Nicklaus designs as this was my first...it appears he knows a thing or two about golf courses!

Firstly, a big thank you for arranging our recent golf trip to Villaitana. We booked the golf holiday package that included four nights B&B with 3 rounds of golf. On arrival we discovered that we had been upgraded to the five star hotel. The room was amazing and had a large bathroom with separate shower, a dressing room, large bedroom area with flat screen TV, safe and minibar, a lounge area with desk and a private terrace where we could enjoy cool drinks while looking out over the beautiful golf course. My friend has stayed in a number of luxury hotels in Dubai and I have stayed in three or four top places in the Far East but the room at Villaitana was as good as any of these.

Breakfast on the terrace of the restaurant overhanging one of the many swimming pools and was a perfectly acceptable buffet style with a good choice of fruit, cakes, cereals and the usual English breakfast. The other facilities on the resort all seemed very good. We ate an evening meal at the resort every night as the joys of Benidorm aren't quite our style anymore! Excellent buffet dinners with nice wines and pleasant bars for a nightcap.

We played the Levante Course for our first round of golf. We had buggies included in our deal and although they were a laugh we feel we could have walked the course. Having said that all of the other groups were using buggies so had we walked we would have fallen behind the rate of play. The course was lovely and in true Jack Nicklaus style there were plenty of risk vs reward type holes. The Poniente course was also thoroughly enjoyable and we found the undulations to be a real challenge. We enjoyed the golf courses so much we decided to pay for an extra round on the Poniente on the final day of our golf holiday.

We had a fantastic time and a big thanks goes to Your Golf Travel who successfully organised a top class golf break.

The Hotel Villaitana Wellness Golf & Sun Resort is a lovely hotel with fantastic facilities on site & it certainly did not disappoint. The staff were of an extremely friendly nature & could not do enough to assist which put us at ease for the whole golf break...it was clear we were in good hands!

We played 2 rounds on the par 62 Poniente course & 1 on the par 72 Levante course. The Poniente rounds had buggies included in the cost which was a real benefit due to the searing 30 degree heat & because the course was so short we had a bit of waiting around between holes. After we had learned the course we both got off to a far better start & upon arrival to the 4th tee there was a young lady sitting at a table with various prizes upon it. She worked for Million Dollar Hole In One & asked if we wished to participate in a competition for 10 Euros each. I hit a sweet 8 iron two feet short of the hole and was rewarded with an Odyssey cap with a ball marker attached. This was used for a bit of wind-up toward my friend for the remainder of the holiday as he only just failed to make the green!

Our round on the Levante Course was unfortunately cut short due to the lack of buggies available on the day. We played 9 holes and then wilted in the heat so retired to the clubhouse.

All in all we had a golf holiday to remember & would recommend YGT to golfers of all walks of life as the variety on offer at such low prices means there is something for everyone.

We have just returned from our golf break to Villaitana and our group of 12 were very pleased with our package.

The hotel rooms were excellent with very high standard of furnishings and decor. We had great views over golf course and Benidorm, the food was quality in all of the restaurants we visited and the weather was kind to us.

Poniente was a great short course. Most of the holes required as much if not more skill than playing the full size course, with some very interesting holes throughout. Even though the course is only a little over 4000 yards it still took 4 hours to play which says something about the challenge it presents!

Levante was a long tough course; we had buggies which was just as well because the temperature hit a pretty lofty height.

The clubhouse had a good atmosphere mainly created by plenty of golfers outside sticking around to enjoy a few beers.

10/10 for the golf break. Next year we think we will try the Algarve or Majorca so get your thinking caps on as we will definitely be back in touch with Your Golf Travel. I have already recommended YGT to several golfers and will continue to do so.

We had the most enjoyable golf holiday at the Villaitana Resort in Spain. The hotel is first class with efficient & friendly staff, outstanding guestrooms and fantastic leisure facilities including a full spa which was perfect for relaxing after a round on the Jack Nicklaus golf course.

Both golf courses were well manicured & I think there were some challenging holes on each course. The Poniente was ideal if you didn’t feel like 18 holes. Clubhouse food was well priced....even if the selection was stinted. It was a little under-staffed but the waitress was very courteous & professional.

A car is a necessity if you want to go anywhere. We hired a car for 3 days which gave us the freedom to explore the surrounding area!

Formerly known as Real De Faula, the golfing complex is located on the fringes of the resort, and boasts two 18-hole courses, designed by golf's greatest name, Jack Nicklaus.

Levante Course
The Levante is the championship layout at Villaitana, and is widely regarded as one of the Costa Blanca's most challenging and enjoyable tests. In true Golden Bear style, there is much in the way of ‘risk/reward', where the brave may be richly rewarded for an aggressive strategy, however the penalties are sure to be severe if you stray too far off line.

Very much in the mould of an American resort track, the Levante has pretty generous fairways and gentle undulations throughout, while the large greens are receptive, and maintained to a superb standard. At 7,297 yards, it favours the long hitters out there, but there is something to entertain everyone, not least the spectacular surroundings.

Poniente Course
The Poniente is Villaitana's second course, and is the perfect antidote to the lengthy Levante. Although the little par-62 layout only measures 4,017 yards, it is still enjoyable even for the highly skilled players, whose short game should benefit from the tricky short holes. Having a second course makes the resort incredibly appealing, as it is perfect for children, beginners, and those who are just looking for a leisurely round in the sunshine.

The terrific golfing landscape also benefits from being detached from the resort's property development, ensuring a truly idyllic setting.
