Just thought we would give you some feedback on our weekend away to Wychwood Park this weekend. Hotel accommodation was excellent, food was hot and plentiful, golf course was well designed, but very busy. The hotel had free internet access computers in the lobby, along with a nice coffee area with complimentry latte, cappucino etc. The Bar Vista (upstairs bar) was very comfortable and relaxing with TV area for watching the all important football results!! Just back from a windswept couple of days at Wychwood Park! This was our second golf break at Wychwood Park in the last three years and it never disappoints.

We chose to go back because we all love the golf course and the value for money you get by booking through Your Golf Travel is simply outstanding.

The course itself has some very well designed and very demanding holes (especially in 25mph winds). I love the way it opens up with a monster par five and finishes in the same way. The greens are very good and I can only imagine how good they would be if the course had slightly less visitors. The rounds were a bit on the slow side but while you’re on a golf holiday you really shouldn’t worry too much about that!

The clubhouse was very nice and was a great place to grab a bit of food following a round on the championship golf course. It was a little pricey but that is to be expected at a golf resort of such quality.

The hotel is absolutely fantastic. The bedrooms are very comfortable and the leisure facilities are great. We made full use of the sauna and the whirlpool. The golf break package we bought from Your Golf Travel included dinner and breakfast every day and the food we got as a result was of a surprisingly high standard.

Overall the trip was great and was certainly value for money. We all said we would be happy to go back but are leaning towards a golf tour of Scotland for our next golf holiday. We will be coming back to Your Golf Travel for that one so get your thinking caps on!

At 7,191 yards from the championship markers, the course is set up to host professional tournaments, and undoubtedly will challenge the game's best.

This is however a resort course, and as such has an array of tees, ensuring that all golfers can enjoy a round at Wychwood. The construction of the golf course utilised the latest in technology, including a computerised system for irrigation, while the teeing areas and sweeping greens were constructed in line with USGA principles. There are numerous obstacles and hazards to be negotiated en-route here, not least the constant threat of water.

Wychwood Park is an extremely adaptable golf course, making it very attractive as a golf break destination for players of all standards.

Wychwood Park begins and ends with monster par-5s, so be sure to give the driver the full treatment.
