Founded in 1897, Barton-on-Sea is among the best established golf clubs on the South coast, and is a high quality addition to any player visiting the Bournemouth area. Just a short drive along the shore to the East, Barton-on-Sea is home to a splendid 27-hole championship layout.

The golf course is composed of the original 18 holes that we designed for the course's inauguration by the renowned Harry Colt, plus the additional 9 laid out by J. Hamilton Stutt in 1992.
Visitors will now enjoy a formulation of the three loops of nine at Barton-on-Sea, named the Becton, Needles and Stroller respectively. These three provide a fantastic variation of character, a stern challenge and terrific views, with highlights including the treacherous island green of the Needles' ninth hole.
