Castleknock's golf course is situated on land that was once the most desirable area for Dublin's elite to build their residences and gardens.
As you would expect, this is some of the most attractive ground around the city, and now boasts a beautiful 18-hole championship golf course. Visiting golfers must negotiate some tough holes, many of which are guarded by the numerous lakes, while the putting surfaces are vast, but well-maintained.
The signature hole at Castleknock is without doubt the charming 13th, a dazzling par-3 over water that challenges the golfer's bravery.
