Our Mini golf tour to Bournmouth this weekend was fantastic in every way. The three courses, Parkstone, Purbeck & Hayling were all in superb condition so it was difficult to choose a favourite. The layout at Parkstone was brilliant with a great opening hole, Purbeck with its views was outstanding and Hayling was the best Links courses we have played and the wind was gusting to 60mph.

The sand dunes of the peninsula of Hayling Island are home to one of the best links courses in the South of England at Hayling Golf Club.

The area has been designated a Site of Specific Scientific Interest, while the panoramic views are truly spectacular: South across the Solent to the Isle of Wight, North across Langstone Harbour to the South Downs, and West across to neighbouring Portsmouth. Established in 1883 and designed by the esteemed J.H. Taylor, Hayling borders the delightful shingle beaches, and the course has staged numerous County and National events.
