Hilton Southampton – Utilita Bowl

Beautiful hotel, very clean and food was lovely. Only very minor moan was it was hot and the air con didn't work very well. Other than that everything was perfect

Great location and friendly staff, food was good however service was very slow (possibly because of Medieval Convention) Also bars and restaurant not huge entertaining areas with no to to watch the Masters in the hotel?

Really nice hotel. Our room overlooked the course. From the bar and restaurant the view was over the Hampshire cricket stadium. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was large enough and bed comfortable. Nice place to stay.

Some of the rooms had varied facilities (some had fridges some didn’t, all rooms were same standard. But overall it’s a Hilton you get what you expect from them.

Good complex. Bar and restaurant a bit pricey. Fantastic spread for breakfast. Rooms comfy and check in very efficient

Stayed here as part of a golf trip, hotel and staff were amazing, only had breakfast as ate in town in evening, but was plenty of choice. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful course that was really well maintained. Good greens and tee boxes. Day 1 we got round really quick, day 2 was a bit slower, but staff were on it. Great value and we'd definitely go back

Good course well laid out but some long walks between holes but very good

The course is not long however on this weekend the wind was blowing! Also, there are a lot of blind shots that need course knowledge otherwise you can find yourself in trouble or in some cases not find your ball. Greens were slower than the practice green however this course is a good challenge

The first day was very busy on the course and pace of play was slow. The second round was flowing around on time. Much better. The course has an interesting layout with some great holes. There are a few blind shots which cost us on the scorecard. Second round much better with the knowledge of where you should be playing to. We should have prepared better. The course has suffered the effects of all the recent rainfall. Fairways in general were ok. Off the fairways the ground is very boggy. A nice summer will fix that. Greens very receptive. Go for the pin as the ball stops on landing. It’s a very interesting course with some easy holes and a few tricky ones. A nice mixture. Would love to play it again in the summer

Nice golf course, quite a few blind shots, difficult greens, very picturesque. Sadly we could only do 16 holes on the 2nd day due to drainage works.

Really great time there and good quality course! They recently changed things around so got a little lost but worth it

More than 1 practice net would of been nice and lost a star due to some of greens being like concrete, appreciate they’ve not had rain in some time but when some had been watered and some hadn’t was a lottery with approaches at times. But stunning place.

Course very dry and hard as expected with the recent weather. Greens were good. First tee box was off temporary box which was disappointing, especially as the reds were a yard away and off a normal tee box. Ball spotter on the first was hilarious with his actions on where you hit your first shot.

It was all of our groups first time here, and were very impressed. Course was in great condition, surprisingly hilly with great views, and each of the holes made you think, wasn't just grip it and rip it with driver. Staff in pro shop and bar were friendly, would definitely come back for another stay.
