Le Grand Hotel Le Touquet
Set in the pines just outside town, the 4-star Grand Hotel Le Touquet is a cracking base for a Northern France golf break. You're around five minutes from the beach, ten from Le Touquet's town centre and under ten minutes by car from Le Touquet Golf Club.
Golf-wise, it's hard to beat for convenience. The club has two championship courses, including Harry Colt's La Mer, plus a shorter nine-hole option that's ideal if you want a loosener or you're arriving later in the day. It's also a former French Open venue, so you know the pedigree is there.
The hotel itself is modern and purpose-built, so don't expect a classic Belle Époque villa. What you do get is contemporary styling, a quieter forest setting and quick access to both golf and the town's restaurants and bars. If you're travelling with non-golfers, or you just fancy a bit of recovery after 36 holes, the Thalassa spa sits next door with an indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi and solarium, plus a menu of treatments.
In short, it's a very solid all-rounder for couples, small groups and societies who want easy logistics, good sleep and plenty to do off the course.
Who is this for?
Golfers who want to play Le Touquet with short transfers, easy evenings in town and a quieter place to sleep than a central seafront hotel.
Who is it best for?
Couples and small groups who like modern rooms, spa time next door and a flexible off-course scene, from good restaurants to the casino.

Accommodation at Le Grand Hotel Le Touquet
The Grand Hotel Le Touquet has 132 spacious rooms, all finished in a clean, contemporary style. It's a comfortable, no-fuss set-up that suits golfers, especially if you're up early for tee times and want an easy routine. In-room you'll typically find satellite TV, a mini-bar, a safe and Wi-Fi.
One of the big pluses is the setting. Being tucked into the forest gives the hotel a calmer feel than staying right in the middle of town, but you're still close enough to head in for dinner or a late drink without it becoming a mission.
Food & Drink
Food and drink are straightforward on site. Restaurant Grand Hotel serves a classic French-led menu and the Sea Snake Bar works well as a meeting point for a post-dinner drink. If you'd rather eat out, Le Touquet is packed with good options. Perard is well known for its fish soup and Flavio's is a long-standing local favourite for richer French classics like slow-cooked pig trotters and foie gras au sauternes. Both are worth booking ahead if you're serious about eating well.
Leisure Facilities
For facilities, the headline is the Thalassa spa next door. If you like the idea of a proper wind-down after your round, you've got a heated indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi and solarium, plus a good range of wellness and beauty treatments. It's also handy if your group has a mix of golfers and non-golfers.
Off the course, you've got the beachfront, the shops and two casinos nearby if you fancy a flutter. Casino du Palais and Casino le Touquet are both within easy reach. Families often rate Aqualud too, which is an easy way to keep everyone entertained between rounds. The town itself has a lively centre with bars and a proper seaside atmosphere, so there's enough going on to keep everyone happy.

We had two lovely rooks on the third floor,,,,,,but. We had or tried to have a meal in the restaurant that took over two hours to arrive at the table, the food was cold and had dried out. We asked for help guarding the wait but nothing came.. we asked for the meal to be removed from our bill, which they did eventually…NOW, they have asked the police to be involved to get their money back. Much better places to stay in La Touquet, trust me,,,,,

The hotel is excellent and the staff fine. The location is good although too far out to walk into Le Touquet. The rooms were very comfortable but the lighting was appalling - far too dark so we couldn't see our way around or find things.

Nice hotel and pretty perfect for our needs if a little away from the centre of Le Touquet. No real difference in size between the cosy and superior rooms so glad I chose the former. The bar and restaurant closed a little early for a golfer’s trip not not a major issue.
