Opened in 1923, Royal Marrakech was subsequently reworked by Open Champion Arnaud Massy in 1933, and is a real gem. The course design has a distinct British accent, yet its surroundings are far removed from home shores; banks of cypress, eucalyptus, palm, olive, orange and apricot trees ensure that your round will be enjoyed in the most spectacular environment.
The tall trees are supported by a procession of strategically positioned bunkers, ensuring that the fair but challenging test is assured. Easily reached from the hub of the city centre, Royal Marrakech comes highly recommended for as part of any golf escape to sunny Morocco.
Famous names to have enjoyed Royal Marrakech include Winston Churchill, Ike Eisenhower and David Lloyd George.
