ST MARGARET'S GOLF CLUB
The golf course at St. Margaret's is established as a quality tournament venue, having hosted the Irish Ladies Open and Irish PGA Championships, where Ryder Cup star and local favourite Padraig Harrington emerged victorious in 2004.
Sam Torrance has famously stated that the demanding par-4 18th, over water, is "the best finishing hole I have ever seen." In addition to the fantastic golf courses, visitors can also take advantage of the John Kelly golf academy, for some expert tuition.
With its close proximity to both the city centre and the international airport, St Margaret's is a great parkland choice during a Dublin tour.
