Situated in no less than 133 acres of parkland, the layout was conceived by Brian Huggett MBE, a former Ryder Cup player, and measures 6,470 yards at its fullest length.
There are a number of distinctly American twangs to the course, most notably the use of sleepers around the edges of the bunkers and lakes. There are also interesting features like a double green, while the striking par-3 8th is arguably the designer's signature.
