The hotel has a large outdoor swimming pool with a sun terrace, while the health club has a well-equipped gymnasium, Turkish baths, a jacuzzi, and there is also a treatment room where the massages come highly recommended. With the beach just yards away, you can also arrange to experience any number of water sports, or just to laze in the sun.

Estoril's famous casino is legendary, and is well worth a visit in the evening should you fancy a flutter. The town has a considerable sporting heritage, notably the local race track, which hosted the glitz and glamour of Formula 1 until 1997, and is now home to an annual race on the Moto GP circuit, while the town also hosts an ATP Tennis event. The traditional fishing town has been developed considerably, but still retains its quintessential charm, and is a stunning spot for a relaxing golf break.

The Vila Galé Estoril has its own excellent restaurant, El Divino, which is a fine a la carte dining room.
