Are you dreaming of stepping foot on the fairways? Not only does our favourite sport have physical benefits from playing, there are mental vitamins up for grabs too. And the only thing that tops off a round of golf, is a round in the sunshine. Today we’re shining a light on El Rompido Golf Resort in Huelva, Costa De La Luz.

36 Hole Golf Resort

El Rompido Golf Resort first opened in 2003 in Costa De La Luz, 18 holes of golf built to USGA standards. The region between Portugal and Spain proved to be an extremely popular region to play and so another 18 hole track was built 3 years later. The North Course brought even higher standards and with longer fairways, is a fun test for all levels of golfer.

El Rompido Ranked In The Top 100 Courses

The North Course is ranked 45th in the Top 100 Courses in Spain thanks to the diversity of each hole. Surrounded by salt marsh you’ll find open fairways with interesting dog legs. Risky, tricky, blind and guarded greens await.

I grew up with the game, a competitive younger sister of a golf mad brother. Dabbled in greenkeeping, now managing content at Your Golf Travel. Still can't putt.
