Just wanted to pass on our thanks for your part in making last weekend a great one.
All went well, accommodation and courses excellent. The beautiful Druids Glen course will live long in the memory.
Need to start thinking about next year now.
Thanks Again
Steve
Thank you for your help in arranging our trip to Ireland which was a huge success. Everyone had a wonderful time, the staff at Druids Glen were so helpful. The food was excellent and the golf courses were in top condition. The Heath was a tough course, the greens on both were very hard to judge but the Glen was enjoyed by all. We had brilliant weather which helped. I would highly recommend the venue again.

Just a few lines to say thanks, our Druids Glen golf weekend for our captain's day was excellent. The Golf courses were second to none, the hotel was first class, food very good and as for the staff they were just lovely. Regards,
John Barcoe
Many thanks for sorting our trip to Ireland, we had a fantastic time and played in my opinion the best golf course ever, Druids Glen. (and I have played some fantastic ones over the years).
Regards,
Billy Hayes
Please accept my thanks in helping organise the golf weekend at Druids Glen, it was simply brilliant.

Druids Glen is one of the best courses I've played - certainly the most beautiful. It was my Dads 60th and he had the best weekend of his life - his words! I think his 2 rounds of net 68 and taking the money off my brother and me certainly helped! Hotel was also superb. Thanks again,
Ryan
As far as the golf courses go, Druids Glen is head and shoulders above 99% of venues I have visited on previous golf breaks. Both of the golf courses at the Druids Glen Golf Resort are of an exceptionally high standard. Every aspect of the course including the tee boxes, fairways, greens and unfortunately the rough are landscaped brilliantly. I was most excited by the prospect of playing the Glen but the Heath course turned out to be a fantastic and of equal status/challenge. Both are difficult courses and I would recommend that you buy a course guide (5-6 Euro) as some of the hazards can cost you dearly and the background info/advice would be valuable.
To supplement the quality of the golf the clubhouse and staff are excellent at both courses and the hotel. They could not have helped us more during our golf trip. Although the prices for food and drinks are quite high this is not the resort being overpriced but more a reflection of the current prices in Ireland. The room and hotel facilities are very good and the food is very tasty. Let’s just say sitting on the roof terrace of the Glen clubhouse having a pint was one of the many highlights of the golf weekend.
The overall verdict from my friend and I was that the golf break was excellent. We have been raving about it to everyone and looking forward to a return. The service and booking from Your Golf Travel and the timely response to my queries has made the trip effortless to arrange and I will definitely book another golf trip soon.

Having just returned from a golf break in Ireland I wanted to let you know that the golf courses and lodgings you recommended to us were spot on and the entire golf tour was a real success.
We stayed at the Druids Glen Hotel and played both of the golf courses there. The hotel was undoubtedly a five star experience...sumptuous luxury throughout. Breakfast consisted of a generous buffet which was delicious. We love Irish white and black pudding so the breakfast was a particular highlight! Lunch was also included after our golf and that too was lovely. The hotel facilities were a real plus. The pool, hot tub and sauna were put to good use; of that I can assure you!
The Druids Glen Course was spectacular and really deserves its unofficial title of the “Augusta of Ireland”. A beautiful parkland course that is adorned with gorgeous Rhododendron and Azaleas...a truly premier golf course. The Druids Heath is very different to the Glen but equally as enjoyable. Boasting lovely views of the Irish Sea this one can get quite testing when the wind gets up and it is quite a trek so we would recommend taking a buggy. The staff throughout Druids Glen were fantastic. Both hotel workers and golf staff went above and beyond and helped make our golf holiday more relaxing and enjoyable.
On top of the two golf courses at Druids Glen we also included a couple of others on our golf tour. The first of which was the course at Howth Golf Club. This is a nice little seaside course perched on the edge of a hill overlooking the Irish Sea, Dublin and Howth. We found this one a bit tricky as we weren’t used to playing yardages by the meter and with the constant elevation changes we found club selection to be difficult...all part of the fun though!
We saved the best for last and finished our golf tour by playing the wonderful Portmarnock. This one can definitely be described as a traditional Irish links course and it is a joy to behold. We had a bit of rain on the morning so we asked to reschedule for 11am and the staff duly obliged. Then the sun came out just in time and we were able to enjoy this wonderful golf course in all its glory. It was great to see all the memorabilia and see the names of past winners at pro events played here. Sandy dunes, beach grasses, deep bunkers, fairway bunkers and firm, true greens...our favourite course on the golf tour.
Your Golf Travel were as good as ever and our booking was done and dusted after a couple of emails and a phone call. Having had you recommend golf courses in accordance to what we were looking for it is clear that you know your golf. Other agencies know the ins and outs of hotels etc but struggle to recommend appropriate golf courses. We hope to be back to Ireland in the near future and will continue to use YGT for all of our golf holiday needs.

Our golf break to Ireland was fantastic and the only bad thing about it was that we had to come home! We booked a weekend golf holiday to Druids Glen and thought the package was excellent value for money. The service from start to finish was great as well and we even got text messages from our booking agent to make sure we everything was going well.
The golf courses at Druids Glen are amazing. The Glen Course is stunning. When I heard people referring to it as the Augusta of Ireland I dismissively chuckled to myself but now I can see what they meant. The pristine condition of the course is impressive and it is supplemented by a stunning array of colours from all the flowers. We thought the giant flower bed designed like a Celtic cross near the 12th tee was an awesome feature. The Druids Heath Course was a great support act too. It takes you on a journey through varying styles of hole so it provides a very entertaining round.
The hotel is lovely even though it is a little on the expensive side. Having said that if you can find an establishment of this quality in Ireland that isn’t expensive I would love to hear from you! We met a few members with whom we became quite friendly and they couldn’t have done more for us...extremely friendly people as were pretty much everyone we came across in Ireland!
I will 100% be back to book all of my future golf trips with Your Golf Travel and am looking forward to doing so. Thanks a million.

We just got back from our golf break to Druids Glen and it was absolutely fantastic.
The hotel was luxurious yet had a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It is also in a great location and you can travel in and out of Dublin in a jiffy and also see the sights around Wicklow.
The Druids Glen golf course was outstanding and it really deserves its nickname of the Augusta of Ireland. This is simply the best golf course I have ever played. The greens were like billiards tables and the fairways are like lush, green carpets. Book your golf break for the right time of the year and the course is also awash with colour making the experience all the more enjoyable.
Top marks for our 2011 golf break...Your Golf Travel were spot on again and we will be back for our next golf trip.

Having just returned from our Druids Glen golf break I would thoroughly recommend it to any serious golfer.
Druids Glen is just a short drive from Dublin Airport and when you arrive at the resort you get the sense you are in for something special.
The Glen golf course is quite magnificent! The layout is quite difficult but not overly so. The course was in beautiful condition, especially considering the time of the year we were playing. This course really deserves its title of ‘the Augusta if Ireland’. I have played lots of the links courses in Ireland, which in my mind are among the best in the world, and I enjoyed this course just as much.
The Hotel is also excellent. The members of staff couldn't do enough for you, the guestrooms were pleasant, the food was fantastic and there was a fine selection of drink at fair prices. The spa with pool and steam room was a bonus after our time on a rainy golf course!
YGT could not have been more helpful and the golf break package arranged for our 4ball was excellent value for money...what more can you ask for?
