Since its inauguration in 1945, Estoril has been the host of the national amateur championship on some 60 occasions, while the Mackenzie Ross designed layout has also welcomed the European Tour's finest for the Portuguese Open on 20 separate occasions. Some of golf's most famous names have graced Estoril's fairways, and presents a testing proposition in a beautiful location, bordered by eucalyptus, pine and mimosa trees.
The course and clubhouse allow visiting golfers to enjoy spectacular views over the Atlantic coastline, embellishing the experience of a round at Estoril.

Good challenging course. Lots of work going on as they build hotel/flats next to it. One par 4 (17) reduced to 150 yards off a temp tee box. Great service before and after the round very friendly staff

Probably the worst course we played but with the best greens again just a bit scruffy & too quirky at times with some of the holes & two holes we had to play our t shot from the middle of the fairway ,the tee boxes especially were quite poor but Layout of the course in general was good and the greens were excellent.

Estoril is a well established parkland course with up and down hill tees and greens.I didn't find it intimidating and was my favourite of the 3 courses played because it is shorter than the others played

Lovely course, popular and busy, interesting routes to some holes (bridge across a motorway), welcoming half way hut and all the staff were friendly. Bit of construction work going on so some dust / debris but didn’t spoil our game

This historic course badly needs course improvements. Instead the owners (Palacio Hotel Group) have constructed monstrous apartment block a few yards away opposite clubhouse which has depreciated the status of the golf which was always v short and bisected by a motorway. Barely fit to be considered as anything other than a holiday golf knock around now - it’s magic has gone
