I can absolutely confirm that the Quinta da Marinha resort in Portugal is fantastic. To be honest when we arrived we thought we were punching well above our weight. The hotel was amazing with very courteous and friendly staff, I was able to watch Spurs finally win something, and then there was the golf. Unfortunately we did not have a camera to hand but I can recommend the 10th hole to anybody. With the green directly in front of the hotel pool and bar, and water around the green it is not only pleasing to the eye but, when not losing a ball to get there is a personal highlight, it's simply superb. Combine that with very helpful staff both on the course and in the clubhouse and proshop, and you are going to have a great trip. The only downside, I played like a muppet, except for the 10th! Apart from that we even got sun when we were due rain.

We will be looking to do this again, maybe at the same resort, maybe somewhere new, but definitely has to be repeated. Thanks for your help in arranging what was a very memorable weekend. Regards,

Our golf break to the Quinta Da Marinha Resort was excellent, as was the service and value for money we got from Your Golf Travel. Before I go into detail, I would certainly recommend both the venue and YGT top any golfer thinking of going on a golf holiday to the Lisbon area of Portugal. Which I think often gets foolishly overlooked thanks to the wealth of golfing riches on the Algarve.

The golf courses we played are all super and were in excellent condition, particularly the greens but we were just a little unfortunate to have heavy rain on the last 3 days. Most of this came overnight and didn't disrupt the golf too much but Penha Longa was very wet. The quality of the golf course still shone through though and despite the soggy conditions the round there was still very enjoyable. The course and the club house at Belas have been much improved and Estoril was a delight.

The Quinta da Marinha Villas were great...simply perfect for a golf holiday. The breakfast was superb and the members of staff at both the hotel and the club house were brilliant. We love the area and variety of golf and with Cascais and it's many restaurants, and Lisbon within easy reach it makes it an ideal location for a golf break.

The overall verdict can be expressed by the fact that we intend to return in March next year with YGT. The Quinta da Marinha Hotel is a pretty luxurious resort at a very competitive price. I have recommended you and the golf to many friends.

The course has recently been used for a PGA Challenge Tour event, and despite its youth is a fantastic mature test.
