I am writing to let you know how my husband and his friends got on after their golfing holiday in Portugal last week. Considering how many golf trips they’ve been on I have never heard my husband and friends speak so highly of golf holiday, everything from transfers to hotel to golf courses and weather were exceptional. Although I guess I can’t thank you for the weather! I want to thank you and the all the team at Your Golf Travel for helping me choose this golf break, he had a wonderful 50th birthday to cherish I will have no hesitation in booking with you again or recommending YGT when my husband wants to book again.

Thank you for organising our golf trip to the Algarve. The service and professionalism was outstanding and we enjoyed our dealings with Your Golf Travel.
Overall it went very well. The transfers to and from the airport to our hotel were perfect, as was the transport to the courses.
The Oceanico Old Course was lovely, but unfortunately quite a few of the greens had been sanded which didn’t always help the putting!
The favourite course of the golf break was the Oceanico Victoria course. The Victoria is a superb course which presents a really good challenge. The quality of the golf is reflected in the clubhouse where the staff are friendly and very helpful.
Overall this was an excellent golf holiday. The hotel was well situated and was great for getting to the marina and the nightlife, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly with brilliant English There were also some great restaurants in the local area and the prices weren’t too shabby either! The hotel facilities were great and the breakfast selection provided a good choice of delicious food.
We would definitely book an Algarve golf tour again as I’m sure there are other great golf courses out there that we have yet to play...San Lorenzo springs to mind!

Eight go Golfing in the Algarve!!
We have just returned from a fabulous 4 days in Vilamoura, staying at the Vila Gale Marina hotel and playing 5 of the Oceanico golf courses.
The golf break package offered by Yourgolftravel.com was fantastic value. All transfers were on time and efficient and we seemed to have so much more time than previous golf trips when we had hired our own vehicles.
The hotel was good value for bed and breakfast and situated not for from the 19th hole which was a popular Marina meeting place. We found some good value restaurants away from the Marina which were happy to provide up to 4 bottles of wine to encourage our custom!! We then hit the "Irish Cabin" where we saw a good rock band. This place was great fun and there was a fantastic atmosphere.
The Oceanico Old Course was a good place to start and much enjoyed by all. 6 of us played Laguna the following morning. As the name implies there is plenty of water to negotiate but overall was pretty fair. The afternoon saw us take on the challenge of Victoria, a course on which the Portugese Masters is held. This is a difficult course for a mid handicapper as the rough is very penal even if you’re only off line by a tad.
On the Saturday we played the Millennium Course which was more like Laguna and the Old course and definitely easier than Victoria.
On our last day we travelled a little further to the Faldo Course at Amandoeira. I have decided that Mr Faldo is a sadist! This is a spectacular course but one you need your “A" game on. It has long carries and climbs up and down a hillside which previously would have seen only goats, snakes and lizards!!
We had a great welcome on all the courses and we would recommend taking this golf holiday package from Yourgolftravel.com if available next year.

Thanks to Your Golf Travel my family and I enjoyed a wonderful golf break in Portugal and we can’t wait to go back for another Algarve golf holiday. The hotel was really good value for money and was a really comfortable and convenient place to stay for our time in Portugal. They staff were very helpful and were great at organising shuttle buses to and from the surrounding golf courses.
Me and my sons played the Oceanico Millennium, Old and Victoria courses and we were very impressed with what we found. Each course posed a different threat and on the whole the Oceanico courses seem to provide the ultimate package. We are looking forward to trying the other courses in the Vilamoura area next time we come back.
The food in the hotel was fine but we had most of our meals in the local restaurants around the Marina. This was a vibrant place and was perfect for relaxing and having a laugh in the evenings.
Your Golf Travel provide a very attentive service throughout and are efficient and prompt when helping make changes to the itinerary.

Just wanted to say thank you for our fantastic golf break in Portugal! It was probably the best golf holiday my husband and his cousin have ever been on and from my point of view, dealing with YGT has been quick, easy and painless...fantastic service and value for money to be had here!
The guys were in golf heaven when they arrived on the first tee of the Oceanico Laguna Course and apparently the quality of the Pinhal and the Millennium courses were equally as impressive. We stayed at the Vila Gale Marina Hotel which was ideal for a golf break. The food was good and the facilities were great. Unfortunately due to a ruptured cruciate ligament I couldn't play golf but my time spent at the hotel, lounging by the pool and relaxing in the Turkish Bath was very relaxing indeed! I hope to go back in the spring for a few rounds of golf though!

This was our 4th golf trip with YGT and our 2nd to The Oceanico courses in Vilamoura which are all superb. We played 4 courses this time around including the Pinhal, Old Course, Millennium and Victoria. The Victoria was where Tom Lewis won the Portuguese Masters 3 weeks previously so that was interesting experience! Quite how he got so many birdies from the back tees there I will never know! I would give all of the golf courses except the Pinhal a 9/10. The Pinhal would get a 7/10 based purely on the quality of the greens which, at the time, were a bit disappointing. The facilities at the courses were brilliant as well and they even cleaned all of our clubs at Victoria for free. The bar meals and drinks were reasonably priced as well.
Our hotel in Vilamoura was superb. We stayed at the Vila Gale Marina which was close to all the bars and restaurants. The big buffet breakfasts set us up well for the days and overall I would rate it 9/10.
As usual YGT were brilliant. Any issues or changes to the plan were dealt with professionally and efficiently and as of yet I have not found anywhere else where you can get such outstanding value for money. The fact that I’ve used YGT numerous times speaks for itself because I tend not to deal with people I don't like!
