The Cheltenham Festival is fast approaching with only four weeks to go.
This is the ultimate jumps racing festival which showcases some of the top racehorses from the UK and Ireland. The Festival takes place at the home of jumps racing, Cheltenham Racecourse, which is nestled amongst the beautiful rolling Cotswolds hills in Prestbury Park.
The four days of racing consist of an incredible 14 Group 1 races including the famous Cheltenham Gold Cup on the Friday. The week kicks off with Champion Day on Tuesday 10th followed by Ladies Day on Wednesday 11th, St Patrick’s Day Thursday 12th and Gold Cup Day, Friday 13th. There is something for everyone with ample bars and food outlets as well as an incredible shopping village and other interesting hubs of bands and live music; not forgetting to mention the heart of the Festival, the Guinness Village.
Racing Breaks have an incredible selection of packages available for The Festival which include a round of golf at a number of the UK’s best golf resorts, The Celtic Manor.
