At 7,149 yards against a par of 73, The South Course is an intimidating prospect from the white tees. With daunting carries, well-placed bunkers and lakes, those scoring well at La Manga are doing so by meticulous course management.

Nicklaus’ design ethos is clear to see throughout your round at El Valle with plenty of room afforded off the tee before the hole narrows towards the putting surfaces which are fast, true and feature incredible breaks and slopes that reward excellent green reading.
The rocky outcrops which frame the lush green fairways are reminiscent of playing golf in Arizona and is considered to be one of the best in Murcia with Your Golf Travellers rating El Valle 8.8/10. The course has also been a host for European Tour Qualifying as well as numerous regional Spanish professional events.

Water is a key feature at Hacienda del Alamo with the picturesque par-3 8th and 12th holes causing heart-in-mouth approaches over water as well as the closing holes on each nine of the par-5 9th and 18 holes requiring highly accurate approaches into the greens to avoid getting a penalty.
