Mission Hills is a great place for a golf holiday even though I only got to play 1 of the 12 courses however! It's absolutely huge - a golfing paradise! There are 4 clubhouses, a few hotels, Leadbetter Academy, tennis academy and loads of other activities going on. The hotels are great and the service is superb.

For the first ten years of its existence from 1994, the Mission Hills Golf Resort opened a new golf course at an astonishing average of one per year. The tenth layout was Greg Norman's, and it is arguably the finest of them all.

The Great White Shark's remit was to create a top quality championship layout with the highest tariffs in terms of difficulty, and he certainly succeeded. Length is a prerequisite for good scoring, particularly on the back nine, which is not far short of 4,000 yards. Of the short holes, the least short is a staggering 260 yards, typifying the magnitude of the challenge inherent to the Norman Course.
While deciding which of Mission Hills' abundance of courses is the best can be tricky, the Norman has been extremely well received internationally, and is the perfect test for the low handicappers to tackle.
