What do you get the golfer that has everything? Well, how about a new set of golf clubs designed by the same bods behind the Williams F1 racing cars?

The good folks over at BornRich.org have detailed the release of three sets of golf clubs; each of which has been designed using the same physics principles Williams F1 applies to their race car design, with the application of composites and alloy materials across the clubs’ shafts, ferrules and heads as well as aerodynamic profiling of the golf club during a typical swing.

The most expensive set – the Black Diamond series – carries a $50,000 price tag; but for that outlay you’ll receive golf clubs constructed with Densimet which is the world’s second-heaviest metal, and used throughout the set’s metal woods and irons. Densimet is used in the FW32 race car to bring the speedster up to the minimum race weight.

And if that’s not enough, the Black Diamond set also comes with a driver that is resplendent with solid gold insets, as well as a full set of gold-plated irons and a personalised 100% Italian leather custom Williams Sports golf bag – handmade in Italy by Schedoni.

The perks just keep on coming too! Each Black Diamond set will be individually customised by a Williams F1 expert, who will fly anywhere in the world to custom fit and tailor each golf club to the needs of the player. And there’ll be VIP treatment at a Formula One race thrown into the price as well.

The Williams F1 Golf range also features the slightly less expensive Player series and the Gold series.

However, you’ll have to fork out a bit extra for a putter however, but Williams F1 have that covered too, and have introduced a line of limited edition ‘Oxfordshire’ milled putters which feature gold insets in the heel and toe, and even an entire putter head made from the precious alloy!

A veritable bargain! Expect some flash-harry to be sporting a set of these in your club medal soon!
