nick-bradleyFrom fresh faced beginners to seasoned veterans the game of golf is a game enjoyed and loved by millions of people across the globe. Recently Your Golf Travel has got together with some big hitters from the golfing world to pick their brains about the courses they love, great golfing moments from the professional game and why they love the game. We all love to talk about the game in the 19th hole after a day on the fairways and here is what leading professionals in the golf industry had to say.

Name

Nick Bradley

Job Title

PGA Professional Golf Coach

I have worked with European and PGA Tour players for the past twenty years. Having taken Justin Rose to world number 6 and European number 1 in a record 12 events, I have recently helped Kevin Chappell progress from the Nationwide Tour to finishing 3rd at the 2011 US Open. I have also written a bestselling golf instruction book, ‘The 7 Laws of the Golf Swing’, and have coached other winners on every major tour in the world.

What inspired you to take up the sport?

The Challenge the game presented.

Where is your home club and why do you enjoy playing there?

Oyster Bay in North Carolina. The views are great and the golf course is a really fun track to play.

Watching my Justin Rose, a pupil of mine at the time, win the 2007 European Order of Merit by claiming victory at the Volvo Masters.

Who would complete your dream fourball?

My Dad, Jack Nicklaus and Seve.

If you had the keys to a private jet and could choose to play any golf course in the world; where would you go?

Royal Melbourne.

Royal-Mebourne

If you worked for Your Golf Travel, where would you recommend for people to go for a golf holiday?

What is the best golf related advice you have ever received?

Feel all short shots through the sole of the golf club.

What piece of golfing equipment or golfing gadget could you not live without?

My 56 degree wedge.

What’s the funniest thing you have witnessed on a golf course?

To be honest, probably some of the swings of past pupils before I started working with them! One swing which really stands out is that of Warren Kwei, his repeated attempts to hit a 2-iron not only resulted in much hilarity but stocks of lake balls to increase significantly whenever it came out of the bag…
